Sabrina Jaspers

Sabrina Jaspers is an experienced clinical social worker in acute care and adult mental health and trauma.  Sabrina’s clinical focus is maternal mental health, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, including postpartum depression and anxiety, and birth trauma.  Sabrina uses a strengths-based, client centred approach while offering evidenced based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Depression and Anxiety, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy for Post Traumatic Stress -both in which she received certification.  Sabrina completed her Master of Social Work through Dalhousie University. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work at McMaster University.  Most recently, Sabrina worked collaboratively with a local midwife program to bring interdisciplinary care and mental health support to women experiencing difficulties in the perinatal phase. When working with Sabrina you can expect care, concern, and compassion throughout the therapeutic process.
