Sabrina Jaspers joined the SWSC team in 2011. Prior to that, she worked as a medical social worker at Hamilton Health Sciences in the Emergency Department, Neuro-Trauma, Internal Medicine, and Cardiac and Vascular surgery working with adults inpatients. Field practicum experience includes working with victims of adult abuse and domestic violence in the Hamilton area. Special interests of hers include working to help clients with traumatic stress, depression and anxiety issues, as well as working with couples and families adjust to new realities. Sabrina has completed certification courses in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at the Adler Institute of Toronto focusing on depression, anxiety and panic, and social anxiety.
